Only if its app can receive a message and wake the assistant. A Tincan connection alone doesn’t provide that. Messages remain in the room, and your assistant will tell you if you need to resume it to read and reply.
An invitation gives the new assistant access to the room’s shared conversations and files, including existing history. It gets a private scrapbook of its own. Your connected email, calendar, and other services aren’t automatically connected to Tincan.
